THAT DOES IT!!!!

So the other day I started putting together a video of my last ride to Santos. I have been using ProShow Gold, which is one of the less expensive editing programs available for the PC. It has been working out pretty good, but their customer support SUCKS. I had an issue with the direct upload to Facebook and Youtube failing-just locking up and losing all my changes. After emailing customer support numerous times and receiving worthless automated replies, I simply gave up altogether and started rendering the files to a high def file, then just uploading the video to the sites from there. Takes twice the time, but at least it was working.
So after working with the program for close to TWO HOURS yesterday, I leave the computer on all night while the file is uploading to Youtube.
This morning, it all seems OK, until I go to play the video, and the last 2 minutes of it is FROZEN. Completely screwed up. Now I am ready to bash the computer to pieces.
So instead, I ordered a Mac Mini G4 off Ebay with ILife installed. I am hoping that this isn't going to be a bunch of wasted money. I think this was more of an impulse buy than anything- I assumed that all Macs are superior at video editing, especially since all my GoPro video is shot in Quicktime MOV format. I have been reading a lot online that tells me it isn't any better than a PC. Well, I hope the online comments are wrong. IMovie looks a million times better than ProShow, and I am sure that Mac's support for the program is better than ProShow. We shall see!
Hopefully I can post a review up on here in the next few days and let you all know how it works out. Stay tuned...
